THE TULE TREE
Located in the town of Santa María del Tule, this magnificent tree is called ahuehuete which in Nahuatl means "old man of water". It is more than 2000 years old and it is one of the main natural turístic attractions in Oaxaca because it is considered the widest tree in the world and one of the oldest ones.
