SAN ANTONINO CASTILLO VELASCO

This Zapotec community is famous for its beautiful multicolored embroidery that adorns dresses and blouses. These embroideries are made by the women of the community on huipiles, dresses and blouses with silk thread, using diverse techniques that are transmitted from generation to generation, each one with a particular name and meaning, within which we can find: "traditional embroidery", "thoughts", "fraying", "do me if you can", "cambalache", etc.
